Bercy Village is the 12th arrondissement shopping center , located opposite the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand in the Bercy district of Paris. Bercy Village is not only a shopping center, but also a leisure center. Opened in 2002, Bercy Village was built on the site of the former Bercy warehouses and wine storehouses, an important wine market in the 19th century. Owned by French company Altarea Cogedim, the center enjoys close proximity to the Bercy Accor Hotels Arena concert hall and the French Ministry of Finance.
Here you'll find women's, men's and children's fashion brands, as well as perfumery, beauty, health, home decoration and gifts. With its fifty or so boutiques, Bercy Village offers a highly diversified shopping experience.
There's also a cinema, the 18-screen UGC ciné cité Bercy (currently closed). On the catering front, a number of takeaway outlets offer a choice of fast food, exotic cuisine and pubs.
Bercy Village also offers a range of services including parking, a charging station and a cab rank, and the site is designed to be accessible to people with reduced mobility.
