Repair Festival 2026: a large outdoor textile workshop and a thrift shop at the 11th arrondissement town hall.

The Festival of Repairs is making a comeback in Paris, offering textile workshops, upcycling, debates and a values-driven thrift shop at the 11th arrondissement town hall, on June 5–6, 2026.

The Repair Festival returns to Paris for its fourth edition, on June 5–6, 2026, on the square and in the courtyard of the 11th arrondissement town hall. In parallel with World Environment Day, the event led by UAMEP – Une Autre Mode Est Possible invites the public to get their hands dirty… or rather to pick up the needle. For two days, worn-out garments, undone seams and forgotten fabrics are given a new lease on life at this major gathering dedicated to textile repair, upcycling and circular fashion.

After unfurling its thread at the Climate Academy, then the Canals, and finally the Palais de la Femme, the free festival today takes its reels to the heart of the 11th arrondissement. For the first time, the courtyard and the town hall square become an open-air workshop, buzzing with sewing machines, crafts, and ideas to mend. Here, there’s no quitting—nor breaking up with a favorite pair of jeans: the festival wants to prove that a damaged garment can still be knit back to life.

With this new edition, the Festival des Réparations reminds us that a snag isn’t the end of the story. Repair, transform, pass on: simple acts that extend the life of garments while prompting us to rethink how we consume. The festival strikes at the heart of the issue, but always with the aim of stitching together the links between design, ecology, and solidarity.

Sewing enthusiasts, thrift-store fans, the curious... this event is for anyone who wants to learn how to make their clothes last longer. A hands-on, handmade outing you won’t want to miss, taking place on June 5 and 6, 2026 at the 11th arrondissement town hall in Paris.
