For Paris Design Week 2026, Louis Vuitton changes scenery and unveils its new Objets Nomades collections in a townhouse in the 7th arrondissement. From September 10 to 13, 2026, the House will open its doors to the public free of charge, by reservation.

During Paris Design Week, Parisian design is keen to step out of its comfort zone… or rather to the grand townhouses. From September 10 to 19, 2026, nearly 500 participants will share 320 addresses, all with one goal: to present creativity where it takes on a new dimension. Furniture, materials and know‑how shed their usual setting to mingle with the capital’s heritage, gardens and architectures.

Louis Vuitton is swinging open the doors to a private mansion on rue de Martignac in the 7th arrondissement, from September 10–13, with a free, reservation-only preview of its new Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades collections. Since their launch in 2012, the Maison has invited contemporary designers to imagine limited-edition pieces, crafted with the know-how of its artisans. After a preview at Palazzo Serbelloni during Milan Design Week 2026, the novelties are this time setting their trunks down in Paris.

This year, a chair asserts itself as a standout piece. Named Kubic, it joins the Homage to Pierre Legrain collection and reimagines a design created for Jacques Doucet in 1923. A trapezoidal back, faceted Nomade leather armrests, and notched rosewood legs compose a deliberately engineered silhouette that sits at the crossroads of Art Deco and Cubism. Louis Vuitton preserves the spirit of the historic model while handing it to its master leatherworkers and cabinetmakers.

The link to Pierre Legrain goes back to the 1920s. A decorator, illustrator, bookbinder and cabinetmaker, he worked with Louis Vuitton and conceived, among other pieces, his Coiffeuse, the Maison’s very first furniture item. A century on, his archives continue to inspire new pieces, alongside creations by Estudio Campana, Raw Edges, and Franck Genser.

In 2025, Louis Vuitton broadens its home universe with the launch of Collections Maison. Building on Objets Nomades, new lines of furniture and lighting emerge, alongside décor, textiles, tableware and games. The collection now sketches a true Louis Vuitton lifestyle, from the armchair to pieces that dress the table and adorn the rooms of the home.

Paris had already caught a glimpse at LV Dream, with a free exhibition focused on design and the art of living during Design Miami 2025. Objects Nomades, Estúdio Campana’s creations, and Appartement Louis Vuitton created a life-size backdrop. For Paris Design Week 2026, the venue shifts to Rue de Martignac, where the latest Maison LV works settle into a townhouse and continue the journey, this time on the design side.
