In Paris, September is not just about the return of lightweight jackets, (the rain) and full calendars: fashion is back too! Fresh exhibitions, pop-ups, new experiences in department stores, vintage meet-ups, craftsmanship and the key moments of the fashion calendar… the capital shifts to a new collection and offers plenty of chances to keep an eye on the trends.
The start of the fashion season can’t be contained to a single storefront. While Fashion Week will put Paris back in the spotlight at the end of the month, the news unfolds well beyond the front rows. Museums, fashion houses, department stores and other Parisian addresses are offering events open to the public, where you can browse, hunt for finds, try things on, learn, or simply fuel your inspiration. September, then, is a condensed showcase of what’s moving Paris fashion, from heritage to creativity, including craftsmanship and new ambitions.
From shoes to hats, from haute couture to vintage, from collectible pieces to today’s creations, September 2026 marks a tailored return on the fashion calendar. And to cap the month in style, Paris Fashion Week returns September 28 to October 6, 2026.
