Luxury loves to polish its finishes, but it rarely reveals the backstage. The Journées Particulières change the game from 16 to 18 October 2026 by opening for free to the public workshops, manufactories, iconic boutiques and heritage sites of the Maisons of the LVMH group. Launched in 2011, the event returns for a 6th edition under the theme "At the Roots of the Dream," with 46 Maisons gathered across 69 venues in 12 countries. For three days, the storefronts stay quiet as visitors discover who cuts, assembles, embroideries, shapes and keeps the whole machine turning.
At Christian Dior Couture, this year is blooming. La Galerie Dior, housed at 11 rue François Ier in Paris, shines a light on the ties between the House and nature. A story that goes straight back to Christian Dior: a flower and garden devotee, the couturier drew inspiration from Granville, Milly-la-Forêt and La Colle Noire. Since his first show at 30 avenue Montaigne, on February 12, 1947, this creative herbarium has continually infused the collections. For Journées Particulières 2026, La Galerie Dior stages a dialogue between this vegetal imagination and the House’s creations and gestures, weaving together flowers, savoir-faire and iconic pieces.
