The Festival des Ressourceries et Recycleries d’Île-de-France, originally slated for June, will finally take place on 26 and 27 September 2026, in the hope that another heatwave won’t disrupt its plans! For two days, the Venelle, village du réemploi solidaire newly established in Montreuil, opens its doors to the curious and to reuse enthusiasts gratuitement, with workshops, solidarity sales and activities.
Nearly 20 reuse hubs gather at La Venelle around a big sale solidaire. Clothing, sports gear, games, books, tableware, hi-fi equipment, and more will be sold at bargain prices so everyone can breathe new life into an object! More than 40 workshops free of charge and open to all ages are also on the weekend program to raise awareness about reusing, with no registration required, blending bike repair, embroidery, a collective patchwork project, and a range of beginner sessions.
From 12:00 to 22:00, the festival invites you to enjoy spectacles, conférences et déambulations festives (fanfares, batucada, dance, …) linking the Venelle to Place de la Fraternité, where concerts will take the main stage, culminating in a grand bal électro to close the event! To let you stay on-site as long as you wish, several drink and food stalls as well as the associative café La Parallèle will be open all day.
