It's back-to-school season for design, and Paris brings out its best finery for the Paris Design Week. For ten days, the capital becomes an XXL showcase of contemporary creation, where furniture, architecture, materials, new technologies and craftsmanship intersect in exhibitions, talks, workshops and installations often free and open to the public. It all fans out across iconic galleries, pop-up showrooms, institutions and a few more offbeat addresses, sketching a true creative itinerary through the city. A chance to go from object to idea, from an artisanal gesture to a reflection on how we live, produce or consume, from September 10 to 19, 2026.

At Lafayette Anticipations, it’s the landscapes and know‑how of Lafayette Anticipations that enter the frame with Vie des Formes, on view from 8 to 13 September 2026, conceived in partnership with Arts AlUla and co-curated by Clément Delépine and Arnaud Morand. The free exhibition brings together works developed during residencies in AlUla and at Villa Hegra with a selection from the Fonds de dotation Famille Moulin collection. Palms weaving, stone, raw earth, perfumery or incense sit alongside research on ecosystems, production and collective practices. Among the designers on show are Altin, Aseel Alamoudi, Bahrain—Danish, Paul Ledron, Paul-Émilieu Marchesseau, Ori Orisun Merhav, Raw Material and Studio ThusThat.
Life of Forms shows how objects and materials can carry the imprint of a region, a craft, or a way of life, while opening up fresh avenues for design.
