Just steps from Montparnasse, the Edgar-Quinet Creation Market transforms each Sunday into an open-air art gallery along the boulevard. Located between numbers 38 and 72 in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, this artistic rendezvous brings together painters, sculptors, photographers, engravers and craftspeople, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Here, no fruits ni de légumes, but canvases, drawings, ceramics, art jewelry, textile creations, or pieces in glass and metal. People come to wander, to look around, to chat with the artists, and sometimes leave with a work they hadn’t planned to buy.

It must be said that the neighborhood is particularly suited to it! Montparnasse keeps alive the memory of studios, artists’ cafés, and the great creative hours of the 20th century. On the boulevard Edgar-Quinet, this history continues in its own way with artists who show their own creations, which allows talking about technique, inspiration, formats, and prices without intermediaries.
