That’s the idea behind La French Beauty, a concept store at 27 rue Léopold Bellan, in the 2nd arrondissement, in the heart of the Montorgueil district.
Founded in 2023, the La French Beauty collective set out to bring together independent French brands under one roof—brands that are often less visible in major retail outlets. Since 2025, its new Parisian flagship store has brought together more than 60 permanent brands and around 2,000 products, from facial skincare and niche perfumery to makeup, haircare and wellness. It’s a chance to discover houses such as Absolution, Huygens, Bastille and Essential Parfums, among other names in the selection.
Part of the appeal of the store lies in its approach to beauty shopping. Here, you can smell, try and compare products from several brands, and get advice without being confined to a single world. The space encourages discovery and conversation, with founder meet-and-greets, activities and events held regularly. The store also has an event space, and plans for a beauty salon have been announced.
