After nearly a decade of absence, the Champs-Élysées Christmas Market is back on its traditional grounds, running from November 22, 2026 to January 4, 2027. Chalets, crafts, treats and festive lights are set to restore the avenue’s radiant glow.

The festive lights are staying put. The chalets, meanwhile, had deserted the avenue. This time, the Champs-Élysées Christmas Market is truly gearing up for its return. From November 22, 2026 to January 4, 2027, it will set up shop in the lower section of the Champs-Élysées, in the 8th arrondissement, near Concorde.

Noël est déjà autour du coin, et les plus impatients se demandent déjà quels sont les marchés de Noël confirmés pour cet hiver 2026-2027. Here’s a look at the events already planned by arrondissement. [Read more]

According to franceinfo, the goal is to recreate a real festive gathering, designed for families as well as Parisians and international visitors, with a concept that’s more refined than what was seen in the past. Don’t expect to dust off the same old chalets: the project aims to lean into a Christmas-focused experience, with attention to product quality, pricing, and the visual appeal of the installations.

On paper, the scene is already taking shape—the lights, the scent of cinnamon, and gifts to tuck under the tree. The chalets should put the spotlight on craftsmanship, Francilian creators, and regional specialties, with the aim of delivering a more cohesive whole than the previous edition, which was often criticized for its disparate, overly commercial lineup. In short, a little Noël back in the Christmas market.

Located near Place de la Concorde, the event will savor the traditional Champs-Élysées illuminations. A quintessentially Parisian route awaits, weaving between shop windows, garlands and chalet stalls, in one of the capital's most photographed districts at this time of year.

We’ll have to wait a bit longer to learn the full lineup. The number of chalets, exhibitors, precise schedules, family-friendly activities and any attractions are still to be announced. The suspense is just as high on the food side: regional specialties, Christmas treats and catering are expected to be on offer, but the list of stalls hasn’t been revealed yet.

One thing is now certain, according to franceinfo: nearly a decade after its disappearance, the Christmas market is returning to the Champs-Élysées for winter 2026-2027. This year, the lights won’t be the sole spectacle.
