Indoorclimbing gyms continue to be very successful. After opening a gym in Montreuil in 2013 and another one in Massy this year, the Arkose group decided to invest in the capital. It is in the district of Nation, 35 rue des Grands Champs, that the gym has opened its doors.
Arkose invests the premises of the former Mosca House, a former bedding and tapestry factory. It is thus in an atypical and historical setting that you will have the leisure to climb.
With a surface of 1 000 m2, the space offers more than 200 blocks. Enough to have a good time. Whether you are an expert looking to improve your skills or a novice looking for an introduction, these structures have something to meet your expectations. You can use the climbing routes according to your level with colored routes that go up and down. The little ones are not left out since formulas and an adapted space are opened to the children from 3 years old. What to climb without being crushed by the adults. We discover a space with reduced height to climb everywhere and another more playful one in the shape of a castle with a slide and a dragon as a bonus.
The height of the blocks does not exceed 4,5m and big mats are waiting for you underneath in case of mistake. No need for harnesses or ropes, this activity can be done alone.
More than a simple gym, this place is also, like the previous ones, a space of relaxation and eco-responsible catering where local products, preferably organic, are used. The restaurant space has 80 seats. Good home-made dishes, quality products, if you don't necessarily like to climb, you will love to eat there.
Throughout theyear, for novices or more experienced climbers, Arkose offers contests (competitions), climbing courses, open days , tasting evenings, film screenings,... and thus creates real living spaces.
