Arkose Paris Nation, the first climbing gym in Paris is open

After having opened 2 bouldering gyms in the Paris region, Arkose opens the first bouldering gym in Paris intra-muros. Head to the 20th arrondissement of Paris, in the Nation district, to discover the first bouldering gym in Paris.

Indoorclimbing gyms continue to be a huge success. After opening a gym in Montreuil in 2013 and another in Massy this year, the Arkose group has decided to invest in the capital. It's in the Nation district, 35 rue des Grands Champs, that the gym has opened its doors.

Arkose occupies the premises of the former Maison Mosca, a former bedding and upholstery factory. So it's in an atypical and historic setting that you'll have the chance to climb.

With a surface area of 1,000 m2, the space offers over 200 blocks. All you need to have a good time. Whether you're an expert looking to perfect your skills, or a novice looking for a beginner's experience, these structures are sure to meet your expectations. You can use the climbing routes according to your level, with colorful itineraries that build to a crescendo. The little ones are not left out either, as there are special formulas and areas for children aged 3 and over. So you can climb without being crushed by the grown-ups. There's a low-height area for climbing everywhere, and a more playful castle-shaped area with a slide and dragon to boot.

The boulders are no more than 4.5m high, and there are large mats underneath in case of a stumble. No need for harnesses or ropes, so this activity can be enjoyed on your own.

More than just a gym, this facility is also, like its predecessors, an eco-responsible space for relaxation and catering, where local products, preferably organic, are the order of the day. The restaurant seats 80. If you don't necessarily like climbing, you'll love eating here.

Throughout the year, Arkose offers competitions, climbing courses, open days , tasting evenings, film screenings...for novices and more experienced climbers alike, creating real living spaces.
