Paris Zoo Run 2025: an unusual run in the Vincennes Zoo

If you're looking for a change of scenery for a jog, the Paris Zoo Run 2025 offers you the chance to walk or run along the paths of the Parc zoologique de Paris, on a 5 to 10 kilometer course before the park opens to the public. If you're coming as a family, the Park has also thought of the little ones, with the Choupi Run for children aged 2 to 5 and the Crazy Run for children aged 6 to 10. The perfect opportunity to meet the wild animals of the Parc zoologique de Paris, in the early hours of September 21.

Take to the rhino enclosure, admire the lions, giraffes, ostriches, monkeys... All funds raised by registering for the various races will be donated to the Zoological Park's white rhinoceros conservation project. The species is threatened with extinction due to poaching. To save it, the Paris Zoological Park is committed to two conservation projects.

The first is in the field, in the Borana reserve in Kenya, helping to provide veterinary care and raise awareness of the rhinos' plight among the local population. The second takes place directly in Paris, where the Park is taking part in a European breeding program for the species, and will be welcoming a female rhinoceros into the enclosure of the two male rhinos already present.

The 5-kilometer circuit is accessible to walkers aged 3 and over, and to runners aged 8 and over, while the 10-kilometer circuit requires a minimum age of 13.Registration for the race entitles you to entry to the Parc Zoologique de Paris on the day, in addition to your race number and the usual refreshments. The 5-kilometer course covers three laps, while the 10-kilometer course requires 6 laps to complete the distance.

The Paris Zoo Run 2025 program:

• 10am: start of Crazy Run and Choupi Run
• 2:15pm: start of the walk (15-minute walk from the entrance, meet at Les Clairières at 2pm)
• 8:30am: start of the 10km (for 15-year-olds and over), then the 5km (for 9-year-olds and over)
