Nuance Wellness: the private and confidential spa with jacuzzi and infrared sauna in République.

A stone's throw from Place de la République, Nuance Wellness unveils a private spa nestled beneath Paris, in a superb vaulted stone basement. This intimate setting invites you to enjoy a tailor-made wellness break, with a jacuzzi, infrared sauna, hammam, and sensory shower.

At the end of a large courtyard near République, Nuance Wellness is discreet. Well hidden, this cocoon of well-being is one of those almost secret addresses that you can't find without hearing about it, and yet it conceals a little gem in its beautiful stone-vaulted basement: a private spa with a jacuzzi, infrared sauna, sensory shower, and hammam, in an intimate and customizable setting.

For 1.5 to 2 hours, there's no question of being with strangers, as the spa is privatized for a moment of well-being alone, with friends, or with your partner, for up to 6 people, adults only. Even better, before or after your session, you can also book a manicure on the ground floor, or even a makeup class, to learn how to take care of yourself and treat yourself to a real pampering session, perfect for a bachelorette party, for example.

Together with her father, who helped create this space, Eva designed a place that is cut off from the world, with soft lighting, where you can forget about everything and just enjoy the facilities. When we arrived, she explained everything we needed to know and how the different elements work before leaving us to it. Don't worry, you don't need to have studied engineering, it's as easy as pie!

Please note that there is only one room where you can leave your belongings and change, but no other cubicles. If you are particularly modest, you will have to take turns, while the others wait quietly on the soft armchairs near the jacuzzi. Towels, bathrobes, and slippers are of course provided, so you can feel like you're at a hotel!

Help yourself to coffee, tea, or a glass of water before putting on some music or even a video if you wish, thanks to a home cinema system, for a fully customizable experience.

In a jacuzzi with deliciously warm water as it starts to get chilly outside, you can relax and chat peacefully, pressing the two buttons that generate more or less turbulence, and enjoy the blue-tinted water, thanks to the beautiful tiles that cover it. We then try out the sensory shower, which offers massage jets, a shower for washing, or a real mini-steam room.

A little gem of technology, this shower cabin doesn't offer much space but does have a number of features, including gentle steam that rises after a few minutes without being suffocating. Right next door is the infrared sauna, if you prefer dry heat!

It can accommodate up to three people, ideal for drying your swimsuit at the end of the session! This type of sauna is much more pleasant because the temperature, although high, remains bearable for the body and allows you to stay in a little longer.

All you have to do is book your session in advance and note that it is important to respect the schedule because after your visit, the space is thoroughly cleaned for the next guests, which takes a little time, as Nuance is not a hotel spa where customers come and go without a break. Expect to pay €190 for 1.5 hours for two people, with the price increasing logically as the number of people increases and if you spend 2 hours there!
