If you want to give a second life to your little-used bike or buy a second-hand one to get around the capital, meet on May 13, 2023, on the Place Saint-Sulpice, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.

Your bike is stuck in the basement and you never use it? Are you tired of the Parisian metro and would rather ride your bike through the streets of the capital, hair in the wind? In both cases, you are invited to a big bike market on Saturday, May 13, 2023, on the Place Saint-Sulpice, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris! The opportunity to find bicycles at a lower cost or to give a second life to an object left to the abandon.

For this second edition, the town hall, the district councils and the association"Mieux se déplacer" à bicyclette will be present to collect your bikes, between 10am and 12.30pm. All types of bikes are welcome, as long as they are in good condition: for women, men or children, city bikes, VTC or mountain bikes, but not electric ones. You can't sell more than two bikes per adult and the price will be fixed between the seller and the association by estimating the best value.

From 2pm to 5pm, it's time to sell the bikes you have collected! For the occasion, a special track will allow you to try the bikes before buying them and you will be able to benefit from advice to choose your steed. Don't forget to come with cash, no credit cards accepted! After the sale, the sellers will be able to get their profit back if the bike has been sold, or leave with it, if not. And if you really want to get rid of it, the unsold bikes not claimed before 5:30 pm will be given to a charity association.

Moreover, this is the ideal month to start cycling, as many events are organized all over the Ile-de-France region on the occasion of Mai à vélo!
