The Canopée des Halles gives way to the Gymnase Bertrand Dauvin, in the 18th arrondissement, to host the free event Playin'Paris. The crowd will groove to hip-hop and the basket on the Parisian playgrounds! Organized by the cultural center La Place, it is back for a new edition merging sport and music, on the 31 May 2026. The day’s program includes dance performances, 3x3 basketball games, DJ sets and a dunk contest in the heart of the capital!
Qualifying tournaments for the 3×3 basketball basketball 3×3 were staged on Parisian playgrounds, and for the final phase, international teams and Francilienne wild cards are invited, alongside the top men’s and women’s teams who battled it out in the tournament. A dunk contest is added to the basketball world with Papagui, Anthonny, Kephren and Waly.
Shows of dance performances offered by the OPS Company and La Scampia also await you in free access for choreographic experiences around freestyle and hip-hop, not to mention a DJ set by Keiishah and the presence of two MCs, Dandyguel, a genuine and committed hip-hop artist, and Lukas Nicot, a journalist and sports commentator with a passion for basketball in France and the NBA.
