Would you like to preview the debut of France's next hip-hop stars? Then we're looking forward to seeing you on September 30, 2023 at the heart of the Gaîté Lyrique for the grand final of the Hip Hop Talents competition in three disciplines: rap, dance and street art. After tough regional selections, four finalists in each field will take part in the dance battles and rap contest! How about free tickets for the event?
The judges included rapper Doria, host of Skyrock's Planète Rap Fred Musa, dancer and choreographer Marion Motin, French Hip Hop archivist François Gautret, street artist C215 and graffiti artist BEBAR. At the end of the competition, each winner will receive a cheque for 5,000 euros and a personalized coaching grant. To round off the evening, enjoy a showcase performance by Doria.
How are the competitions organized? In dance, after a solo carte blanche, the four finalists will duel in battles until only the winner remains. In rap, the finalists will come to perform and convince of the quality of their vocal technique and the writing of their text between carte blanche and imposed music. In street art, a creative challenge will take place in the morning under the Canopée des Halles, on a theme revealed a few days earlier.
