The contemporaryurban art scene finds a new home in the Hauts-de-Seine with the arrival of SPERA at the Beffroi de Montrouge. From October 2 to 5, 2025, this first edition of the international fair will transform this cultural space into a veritable global artistic crossroads. More than just an exhibition, SPERA is positioned as a hybrid collective experience, bringing together major figures in international street art and emerging talents, in an atmosphere of creative effervescence accessible to all audiences.
Le Beffroi de Montrouge is home to over 1000 m² of exhibition space, featuring 40 galleries from all over the world, presenting the work of more than 100 artists. The Beffroi Montrouge is a veritable laboratory for artistic dialogue, combining different formats, styles and cultures. The diversity of proposals reflects the complexity and vitality of the contemporary urban scene, with a program that integrates conferences, creative workshops, performances and meetings around the social, cultural and political issues that run through urban art.
As part of the Year of Brazil in France, SPERA celebrates Brazil's artistic wealth by welcoming emblematic São Paulo galleries such as A7MA and Alma da Rua. Major figures in Brazilian street art such as Enivo, Fefe Talavera, Andre Mogle and Rafael Sliks exhibit their creations. The tribute will culminate in a unique artistic collaboration between French artist Seth, internationally renowned for his poetic universe, and Tinho, a pioneer of Brazilian graffiti and a symbol of Franco-Brazilian friendship.
Live art is central to the SPERA program. Asso Art'Murs will enliven the Place du Beffroi with live painting sessions open to all, true to the very essence of urban art. Spontaneous collaborations between artists from different horizons will be orchestrated by URBAN ARTS Magazine to offer an immersive and lively experience.
On the music front, Thursday October 3 features a special concert by DJ Dee Nasty, a legendary figure in French hip-hop and a pioneer of turntablism. On Saturday, October 4, The Ringtones will set the stage alight with their Rock'a'Billy rhythms, a genre that has profoundly influenced the world of graffiti alongside Punk.
Friday morning, October 3, will be reserved for local schools and associations for special exchanges between artists, educators and young audiences. Throughout the event, POSCA will be running a creative space dedicated to children, with introductory graffiti workshops, while LAB Galerie, in partnership with Passage Clouté, will be offering classes for families. The transmission of urban cultures is one of SPERA's major objectives.
