In the capital's 17th arrondissement,Hôtel Paris J'Adore is one of those spots that celebrates romance. It's a haven of peace for lovers who enjoyromantic experiences, whether staying at thehotel, dining in the restaurant or in the spa.

It's to the latter that we take you today. Accessible to the hotel's external clientele, the Spa de l'hôtel Paris J'Adore is one of those spots where you can feel pampered while enjoying an intimate atmosphere with an eye for detail.Access to the spa includes a beautiful heated swimming pool with fountains that can be turned on for relaxation to the sound of trickling water, as well as a Jacuzzi, all in an atmosphere of antique baths.

A sauna and hammam await steam bath enthusiasts, with an ice fountain right in front. One of the surprises of this spa is also the sensory shower, with massaging jets, light effects and an olfactory ambience. Finally, there's the salt grotto, where comfortable cushioned loungers and sofas await you.

The spa is available in a range of packages, starting at €55 per person for 90 to 120 minutes' access. It can also be privatized, particularly at night, with a 350€ package for two people, including a bottle of champagne.

In addition to these facilities, the spa has a duo treatment room where you can enjoy a made-to-measure massage for two. Each practitioner has developed her own method. During our visit, it was with Sophie that we were able to enjoy a relaxing, tailored treatment, from which we'll emerge relaxed without sinking into torpor. With stretching, draining and ingenious pressure points, muscles relax to the rhythm of a playlist that's both modern and in keeping with the setting. As you leave the cabin, you'll even want to bring in a subdued atmosphere of candlelight to delay your return to reality.
