From May 15 to 17, 2025, boxing comes to Argenteuil for the 19th edition of the Ceintures, an international boxing tournament that brings together amateur athletes from all over the world for a weekend.

Since 2006, hundreds of French and international boxers have joined forces in Argenteuil, host city of the Ceintures, a boxing tournament taking place for the 19th time! From May 15 to 17, 2025, the Halle des sports Roger-Ouvrard welcomes the general public to witness nearly 200 quality fights between the best of the elite circuit, confirmed or amateurs, who have more than 15 fights under their belts.

During these three days of competition, nineteen nationalities are represented by clubs or national teams, including Algeria, Sri Lanka, Canada, Switzerland, Germany and several figures from the Paris 2024 Games. The 180 male boxers and 50 female boxers will compete in each of the weight categories approved by the French Boxing Federation, in a bid to qualify.

The Ceintures are traditionally sponsored by big names in the sport, such as Brahim Asloum and Souleymane Cissokho, or amateurs in the discipline, such as Philippe Bas and Ramzy. Considered one of the most prestigious in Europe, this tournament is a determining factor for the participants, a founding springboard for their careers and a unique opportunity for youngsters to compete at a high level. This year, the winners of each category will earn a direct ticket to an international boxing gala organized in partnership with the World Boxing Association (WBA).
