An opportunity to (re)discover live the classical universe of this immense Italian singer. Today, the tenor has more than fifteen studio albums to his credit, including"Believe", released in 2020. But Andrea Bocelli is also known the world over for his many collaborations with French and international stars such as Tony Bennett, Jennifer Lopez, Nelly Furtado, Ed Sheeran, Laura Pausini, Hélène Ségara and Céline Dion.

Proof of his international renown, Andrea Bocelli has sold over 80 million copies of his records worldwide. He also received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010.

Among his greatest hits? " Vivo per lei ", " Mascagni ", " Anema e Core ", " Chiara ", not forgetting " Por Ti Volaré (Con Te Partiro) ", as well as many of his famous and varied covers.

Our take

Seeing Andrea Bocelli live is to measure the reach of his legend: vocal power, Italian flair, and natural charisma — all real. No opening act for this tenor’s Paris concert, likely the most recognizable to the general public, but more of a two-part hybrid show blending dance, musical theater, and opera. First comes the lyric portion, with major arias from the repertoire and reinterpretations of iconic works, then his greatest hits. The musts, such as Con te partirò or Vivo per Lei, are saved for the finale or the encore. He even sparked a standing ovation, as the audience clearly refused to let the Italian icon leave the stage.

Used to duets, Bocelli this time brought on stage soprano Mariam Battistelli and Danish singer Andrea Lykke, both remarkable and in sync with the tenor, to the point of nearly stealing the spotlight from him. A touching moment also came when the orchestra performed his classics and those of great composers, such as Ennio Morricone.

Yet the show sometimes feels scattered: dance interludes, excerpts from musicals like West Side Story—flawless but a touch off-theme—and the sheer number of numbers can give an impression of fragmentation, with Bocelli occasionally getting lost in the crowd.

For this one-off Paris date, one would have hoped for more duets—not necessarily with Céline Dion, but a few surprises would have been welcome—perhaps to discover other lyric talents, or to see him share the stage with his children, as he sometimes does, to make the concert even more personal. Still, every Bocelli moment remains memorable.
