The famousNRJ Music Awardsceremonyreturned to the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, the event's historic venue since its inception. Hosted by Nikos Aliagas, the NRJ Music Awards ceremonytook place onFriday, October 31, 2025.
As a reminder, theNRJ Music Awards bring together the biggest French and international stars every year for the only awards ceremony where the winners are chosen by the public. Over the years, the event has become one of the must-see musical events of the year. It is also an opportunity to see some great artists perform live. This year, British artistEd Sheeran and the girl groupKatseye stolethe show with their respective hits "Azizam" and "Gabriela."
Gimsalsosetthe nightalightwith his performance of"Ninao," recorded the day before. Kendji Girac shared a beautiful duet of "Vivo per lei" with Ambre, a new graduate of Star Academy. We mustn't forget the performances byPierre Garnier, Marine, and Helena.
As for the winners, Helena won the award for Francophone Female Artist of the Year! Pierre Garnier, named Francophone Revelation of the Year in 2024, this timewalked awaywith the award for Best Francophone Male Artist of the Year. American Alex Warren was crowned International Revelation of the Year. Julien Lieb wonthe award for Francophone Male Newcomer of the Year, while Marine (winner of Star Academy 2024) received the award for Francophone Female Newcomer of the Year.
