A discreet artist who has been fairly scarce on European stages in recent years, Damien Rice announces a world tour for 2027. From Melbourne to Manchester, via Seoul, Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Madrid and Lisbon... the Irish singer will also make a stop in Paris with a single show scheduled on Monday, April 12, 2027 at the Grand Rex.

This new tour by Damien Rice will thus serve as the occasion to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the opus "o", the Irish artist's very first studio album released in 2002 and self-produced at his home in Ireland. Marked by melancholic, folk-leaning tracks, the album notably features the sublime single "Cannonball".

After his debut album drew widespread acclaim from critics and fans alike, Damien Rice released "9" in 2006 and then "My Favourite Faded Fantasy" in 2014. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting a new album and fresh songs. In the meantime, Damien Rice continues to tour occasionally, preferring to travel by sailing tour rather than the tourbus.
