Simple Minds are back! To celebrate the release of their new album Sacrosanct, the Scottish band is gearing up for its biggest arena tour yet, dubbed the Simple Minds V Tour 2027.
In France alone, the Glasgow-formed rock band plans to blitz through five different cities. First up on April 9 at the LDLC Arena in Lyon. Simple Minds will then stop at Paris Bercy on Saturday, April 10, 2027 for a single show. Jim Kerr and his band will then head to Le Galaxie in Amnéville on April 11, followed by the Zénith in Nantes on April 13 and finally the Arkéa Arena in Bordeaux on April 14, 2027.
On the ticketing side, don’t miss the Paris Bercy presale available starting September 10 at 10:00. The general sale opens on September 11 at 10:00. A word to the wise: be ready, because demand to see the band live has surged in recent years. Tickets for this new tour are likely to sell out quickly.
Simple Minds will take the opportunity to debut their new opus live, titled "Sacrosanct". Due out January 29, 2027, this latest release from the Scottish band follows "Direction of the Heart", which came out in 2022. Recorded between Sicily and London, the album comprises eight tracks, including the single "Beginner Boys".
But fans of the band will also be able to catch the singer Jim Kerr and guitarist Charlie Burchill as they revisit their classic hits. Notably, Alive and Kicking, Hypnotised or even (Don’t You) Forget About Me.
