La Star Academy marks its 25th anniversary at La Défense Arena in April 2027.

Star Academy is celebrating its 25th anniversary (already!). To mark the milestone, TF1’s flagship show announces an exceptional evening at La Défense Arena on Saturday, April 3, 2027. For the occasion, get ready to see on the stage of Europe’s largest indoor arena all generations of alumni gathered to relive the greatest moments in the show’s history and in its 14th season!

25 years, time to celebrate! That’s exactly what Star Academy is planning for 2027. The cult show, born in 2001 and aired on TF1, is lining up an exceptional night at La Défense Arena on Saturday, April 3, 2027. It’s an opportunity to splash out and mark these 25 years, bringing together in Europe’s largest indoor arena all generations of Star Academy alumni around the franchise’s biggest moments and its 14th season. For now, it’s not yet known who’ll be taking part, but the lineup promises to be outstanding and full of surprises!

To catch this must-see concert and celebrate 25 years of the Star Academy at La Défense Arena, don’t miss the opening of ticket sales, with presales from the venue and Ticketmaster set for Tuesday, September 29 at 12:00. Otherwise, general sale is scheduled for October 1 at 12:00.

The Star Academy premieres on television on October 20, 2001. The concept? Sixteen students spend singing, dancing and stage-performance classes at the Château des Vives Eaux in Dammarie-les-Lys for almost three months. That year, the French public meets Jennifer, Mario, Jean-Pascal, and the future Olivia Ruiz. Won by Jenifer, this inaugural finale attracted around 12 million viewers.

Since then, the Star Academy has seen a steady stream of academy members, some of whom have grown into major artists, such as Nolwenn Leroy (season 2), the late Grégory Lemarchal (season 4), Sofia Essaïdi (Season 5) and more recently Pierre Garnier (season 11).

Live evenings are also defined by the presence of prestigious guests, such as Madonna, Beyoncé, Celine Dion, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, or Kylie Minogue. After season 8, a break becomes necessary. Yet the TV lineup ultimately returns to the air on October 15, 2022. Proof of its success, the fourteenth season of the Star Academy is set to launch on October 10, 2026, with Mosimann, appointed director of the château, and Vianney as godfather!

On April 3, 2027, the plus grande salle d'Europe will throw open its doors to a crowd of Star Academy alumni, as the cult show marks its 25th anniversary in spectacular style!
