Singing in the pool: a swimsuit opera by the Butte aux Cailles swimming pool

Fancy a concert with a twist? As part of theCultural Olympiad and the Paralympic Games, the Butte aux Cailles swimming pool invites you to listen to opera with your feet in the water! On August 31 at 3:30 p.m. and September 1, 2024 at 10:30 a.m., come and enjoy the"Singing in the pool" show free of charge, but don't forget your swimsuit, or you won't be able to access the pool. Created by the"Harmonieuse Disposition" company, this performance blends music and sport, around an aquatic theme.

Because it's not all opera! Immersed at the edge of the pool, close to the artists, you'll be able to admire apneists and artistic swimmers, accompanied by opera singers and a pianist, on a unique stage. If you've never seen a concert in the water, now's your chance! Part of the"Opera and Climate change" program, this show deals with climate and earth disruption through music. Are you ready for a refreshing moment of water and sound in one of the capital's most beautiful pools?

And if you miss this event, it's back on September 7 at 6.30pm, this time at the Stade Nautique in Drancy, Seine-Saint-Denis!
