Grande fête at Asnières-sur-Seine: free concerts and DJ sets on August 31

For many, the end of August marks the start of the new school year. However, some towns have decided to extend their summer festivities. Such is the case ofAsnières-sur-Seine. The Hauts-de-Seine municipality is organizing a major celebration on Sunday August 31, 2025, to offer its residents a festive moment to enjoy with family and friends!

From 12:30 pm, head to the Hôtel de Ville forecourt to tantalize your taste buds with the presence of several foodtrucks. Then, from 2pm, dance to the rhythm of free concerts and DJ sets. For the occasion, several renowned artists will take to the stage throughout the afternoon.

On August 31, join Kenny Genevieve, a.k.a. DJ Kawest, and DJ Goldfingers, a.k.a. the " DJ with golden fingers", on the ephemeral stage set up in front of the Hôtel de Ville inAsnières-sur-Seine. Also on the program? DJ Abdel, considered one of the best-known figures in French hip-hop and R&B, and a member of Black Blanc Beur and Positive Black Soul. And let's not forget Paris Select. This group of passionate artists will be performing some of the greatest standards of French and international chanson.

Asnières-sur-Seine's August 31st festivities, the musical program

• DJ Kawest - 2.30pm
  An eclectic artist, DJ Kawest navigates between Caribbean variety with urban influences and African sounds.
  
  
• DJ Goldfingers - 15h30
  DJ Goldfingers, the " DJ with golden fingers ", has sold over a million copies of his compilations and also signed the soundtrack to the film"La Tour Montparnasse Infernale" by Éric & Ramzy.
  
  
• DJ Abdel - 4:30pm
  DJ Abdel is one of the best-known figures in French hip-hop and R&B. He was a member of Black Blanc Beur and Positive Black Soul in his early days. With his sidekick Cut Killer, they set up their own production company, Double H, and notably produced albums by the group 113.
  
  
• Paris Select - 6:00 pm
  A group of passionate artists, Paris Select performs some of the greatest standards of French and international chanson. On stage, the group is made up of a brass section, a string ensemble, musicians, singers and dancers.

Throughout the summer, the town ofAsnières-sur-Seine organized a series of free concerts, including those by Petit Biscuit, Véronique Sanson, Camille Berthollet and DJ Elfigo. In the near future, the town will play host to Magic System.
