Ready to change hemispheres without leaving the Hauts-de-Seine? On Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13, 2025, the Sitaara Festival returns for a 3rd edition that will get Bollywood and French variety dancing on the same wavelength. Head for the Parc de Bécon in Courbevoie (92), where the Théâtre de verdure becomes a celestial stage for two bohemian, bucolic evenings under the stars.
Launched in 2023 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the restoration of the Pavillon des Indes, this festival celebrates the fusion of cultures, offering an escapade of sound, sight and taste. On the program: Indian and Western instruments, songs, dances, flavors from elsewhere and an atmosphere of openness, tolerance, peace and fraternity.
From 6pm, head to the Pavillon des Indes for a free tour, including a visit to the enchantingly fragrant Indian street food stalls. At 7.15pm, the Théâtre de verdure opens its gates. Then at 8pm, it's time for the magic: under the musical direction of Jan Erdos, with Sumana, Mahina Khanum and Sérana Mesureur, young artists will revisit mythical Bollywood and French variety melodies, sprinkled with a few surprise tunes each evening.
A reminder: the festival plays outdoors. If the weather turns nasty, the concert may be cancelled or postponed (refund guaranteed).
Two evenings. Two musical stopovers. One promise: to escape, without ever leaving Courbevoie!
