Considered one of the leading figures of the hard rock movement,Deep Purple will once again delight us by returning to the stage. Like most rock bands of the 70s, Deep Purple has had its ups and downs with departures, breakups, and reunions... ButDeep Purple has always consisted of five musicians: a singer, a guitarist, a keyboardist, a drummer, and a bassist. In its early days, the band consisted of Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Ian Paice, Rod Evans, and Nick Simper. But the most famous lineup remains the second (Mark II), the one that achieved great success, which included Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Ian Paice, Ian Gillan, and Roger Glover.
This lineup was at its peak between 1969 and 1973, thanks to the release of albums such asDeep PurpleIn Rock, featuring the tracks "Speed King " and " Child in Time," andFireball, with the single "Strange Kind of Woman." Of course, we mustn't forget the release of "Machine Head" in 1972, with tracks that became huge hits such as "Highway Star," "Lazy," "Space Trucking," and above all "Smoke on the Water."
In the fall of 2026, Deep Purple plans to hit the road again in France with this series of five concerts. To see them or see them again in Paris, head tothe Adidas Arena on October 22, 2026.
