In January, reports surfaced that a major concert in tribute to Werenoi would take place at Paris Bercy on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The news was sure to spark the interest of the rapper’s many fans, who had seen him pass away on May 17, 2025, at just 31.
Not surprisingly, tickets for this sole Paris concert paying tribute to the artist sold out in no time. It must be said that Werenoi had established himself as one of the most influential figures in French rap, notably thanks to his albums "Carré" (2023), "Pyramide" (2024) and "Diamant Noir" (2025). And his passing leaves a big void in the world of Francophone rap. Incidentally, since his death, his albums "Diamant Noir" and "Pyramide 2" have been among the 10 best-selling records of 2025 in France.
So, this tribute concert was eagerly anticipated by those holding the prized pass. Many wondered who would be invited to perform. But the organizers chose to keep the lineup under wraps until the end and reveal nothing about the lineup. Thanks to several videos shared on social networks this Wednesday evening, as well as reports from various outlets, including Le Parisien, we can reveal the list of rappers who took the stage at Paris Bercy for this grand tribute to Werenoi, a show that drew more than 15,000 fans. While some names were missing, like SDM and Ninho, the night still offered a few memorable surprises.
Presented by Jacky Brown of the Negmarrons, the show kicked off with Franco-Cameroonian rapper Dosseh. The artist, who had notably collaborated with Werenoi in 2022 on the track « La vie de Cesar », performed the tune « Habitué ». Mac Tyer, who had sung alongside Werenoi and Lacrim on the track « Ali », was also in the house Wednesday night.
What other rappers stepped onto the Paris Bercy stage on March 25, 2026? Keblack, who notably performed “Mood”, but also Lino of Ärsenik, or even Nahir et Vacra who teamed up for the famous “Piranha”. Paris Bercy’s audience also got a return appearance this Wednesday evening from the renowned rapper Dinos with the track “93 mesures.”
The night still held a few more surprises with the appearance of Timar. The Congolese-born rapper seized the moment to drop the track Sierra Leone. The one and only Fianso, who will say goodbye to the stage this autumn, was also there, to perform the song Lundi.
The night wrapped up with performances by La Mano 1.9 on Businessman, Belgian rapper Hamza on tracks Maudit and Kyky2bondy, and Youssoupha on Mon Roi.
In addition to the performances by these various rappers, the tribute concert also featured an exclusive preview of an unreleased documentary about Werenoi.
