In 2011, Pitchfork Music Festival Paris made its first appearance in Paris. So, for those who don't yet know, Pitchfork has become a veritable institution in the space of fifteen years. At the outset, the webzine was simply an open forum for a few indie rock enthusiasts. But it soon went on to specialize in pop, rock, folk, electro, jazz and hip hop, always with a particular affection for the underground, becoming a veritable reference in the field.
And it was in 2006 that the webzine organized its first festival, in Chicago's Union Park. 5 years later, the festival announced the good news: Pitchfork Music Festival was exporting to France, and more precisely to Paris, at the Grande Halle de la Villette. In 2011, Bon Iver, Aphex Twin, Washed Out, Real Estate, Wild Beasts, Lykke Li and Jens Lekman opened the first edition.
Building on the success of past editions, the Pitchfork Music Festival Paris announces its return with a new edition, scheduled to take place this year from November 2 to 8, 2026.
Having spent nine editions at the Grande Halle de la Villette, the Pitchfork Music Festival Paris presses on and this year again reinvests no fewer than 10 venues across the capital. Notably at L'Élysée Montmartre, at the Trabendo, and at the Badaboum for several evenings of unique concerts.
Also heading to the Bastille district on November 5, 6 and 7, 2026 for the Pitchfork Avant-Garde, which will take you through about fifteen artists per night to see and hear on stages across several venues in the capital (Badaboum, Café de la Danse, Supersonic, Popup!, Mécanique Ondulatoire...).
On the programming side, the Pitchfork Music Festival Paris 2026 promises variety and quality with the presence of Headache, the collaborative project between writer and poet Francis Hornsby Clark and music producer Joseph Thornalley, aka Vegyn, but also Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, Amore, a key figure on the new pop scene and the Spanish music landscape, or yet ear, the electronic duo made up of Yaelle Avtan & Jonah Paz.
