Who hasn't heard of the Lunch Beat concept? This year, the unusual musical event returns to Paris, inviting you to let off steam for just over an hour of electro music to spice up your lunch break.
Following the success of previous Lunch Beats in the metro, RATP has decided to repeat the experience by offering its passengers a new and 6th edition, not to be missed on Thursday June 8, 2023, from 12.30 to 2.30 pm, at Glacière station, on line 6. Those who have already tried it out, in previous sessions, now know that the lunch break no longer has to be synonymous with a snack eaten in the corner of the office.
The concept comes straight from Stockholm, where dancing between noon and midday has become a way of life. It all began in 2010, when a young Swedish woman, Molly Ränge, got 14 of her friends together in a garage to club at lunchtime. The formula is simple: an hour's DJ set, a meal and unlimited water. Anyone is free to organize their own Lunch Beat, as long as they respect the ten points of the manifesto. Word of mouth did the rest. Today, the Lunch Beat is in the metro.
Join us on June 8, between 12.30 and 2.30 pm, at Glacière station (line 6) to dance to the mixes of producer Marina Trench, the new French sensation on the House scene.
