Cergy Soit, the free festival dedicated to circus and street arts to be discovered in Cergy this autumn

To help young and old alike forget about the back-to-school season, the city of Cergy has come up with a colorful program of free events from September 2 to 17, 2023, to celebrate Cergy Soit!

From September 2 to 17, 2023, the Cergy Soit! festival celebrates its 25th anniversary with a great program, entirely free and open to all. In all, over 100 free performances will be given during the first two weeks of September, more than 30 companies will be showcased thanks to the festival, and over 30,000 spectators are expected! A great family event not to be missed in Cergy-Pontoise, especially as it's entirely free.

The festivities kick off on September 2, at 8:15 p.m. on Place des Moineaux in Pontoise: you'll be treated to a grand pyrotechnic parade through the most beautiful streets of Pontoise, followed by a dance concert and fireworks display at nightfall. The festival then moves on to several communes in the Cergy conurbation, with acrobatics, juggling and danceshows... The highlight of the festival takes place on the weekend of Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September 2023: come to Cergy to discover thehuge big top set up on the Place des Arts! Aerial trapeze, circus, hip hop... An evening of high-flying acts awaits you, followed by a concert and DJ set.

Exceptionally, and to mark this festive weekend of circus arts, the former Cergy skating rink will reopen its doors to give the public the chance to discover the ephemeral Graff Museum, or even, for the more daring, to strap on their roller skates and take part in a Roller Party. Senegalese films and excerpts from the FiXion series, shot with Cergypontains actors, will be screened from Place des Arts.
