Located in the Marais district of Paris, the Point Virgule is a must-see venue specializing in comedy. Since its inception, it has played host to a host of comedians, including Élie Kakou, Nicole Ferroni and Florence Foresti. Forty years after its opening, Point Virgule continues to welcome young talents such as Solay.
A comedian, actor, writer and director, Solay - whose real name is Solayman Belmihoub - is now considered one of the rising stars of French stand-up comedy, thanks to his self-deprecating humor, his observation of everyday life and his incisive yet sincere sketches.
After training at prestigious theatrical institutions, the actor continued at the Cours Simon, before joining the Conservatoire national de Saint-Germain-en-Laye, then Les Enfants Terribles. This autumn, Solay takes things a step further, taking over the Point Virgule theatre to present"Daron" until December 6, 2025.
Not to be missed on October 17, November 14, 15, 21 and 22 , and December 6, 2025, Solay 's new show looks back at the discovery of fatherhood. Childbirth, positive parenting, the daily life of a couple of young parents in today's society... Solay recounts everything he wished someone had told him before he became a"Daron", all in a tone that's both piquant and absurd.
Join us on Saturdays 15, 22 November and 6 December at 8pm, and on Fridays 17 October, 14 and 21 November at 8pm to discover"Daron", Solay 's new show at Point Virgule.
