Remember: in October 2000, the Palais des Sports de Paris hosted the very first performance of the show "Les Dix Commandements". A little more than 27 years later, the same Paris venue opens its doors once again to this cult musical, penned by Lionel Florence and Patrice Guirao, then directed by Élie Chouraqui with music by Pascal Obispo.
Several dates are lined up across France in 2028, including Dijon, Rennes, Le Havre, Caen, and Toulouse. The original cast of Les 10 Commandements will also set up shop in the capital for a single, must-see night on Saturday, February 26, 2028. Heads up, tickets for the entire new tour go on sale on Tuesday, July 21 at 10:00 a.m.
Back then, the musical was a smash hit thanks to its staging and its songs, including the indispensable l'envie d'aimer performed by the late Daniel Levi, who passed away on August 6, 2022. For younger audiences, this French production revisits the life of Moses and the legend of the tablets of the law, reimagined in a contemporary style.
Following its initial return in 2025 at La Seine Musicale, the musical "Les 10 Commandements" is now set to move into the Dôme de Paris, the venue in the 15th arrondissement of the capital where the show was born. To share this musical moment—between memories, emotions, and celebration—and to (re)discover the songs that defined an entire generation, be sure to join us on February 26, 2028!
