Les Vilaines: a musical comedy at the Gaîté Montparnasse

Les Vilaines returns to the Gaîté Montparnasse Theatre in Paris for a third season, from September 30, 2026 to June 16, 2027. This musical comedy by Guy and Elsa Bontempelli follows three cabaret artists, weaving their on-stage numbers with life behind the curtain.

Numbers, dialogue and dance sequences fuse the fantasy of Paris’s legendary revues with the real concerns of the performers. The characters talk about men, the condition of women, and the pressures they face. The show adopts the visual language of the music hall—with its glittering costumes and sequins—tackling these themes in a comic tone.

The cast now features Lucille Nemoz, Charlène Veyrunes, and Charlyne Ribul Conte. Elsa Bontempelli also directs the staging of this singing-and-dancing trio.
