The location even houses its own museum, Galerie Dior, providing a captivating immersion into the history of the iconic Parisian fashion house.
For seventy years, 30 Montaigne has been the birthplace of the iconic collections of Christian Dior.

Following a stunning debut exhibition at the reopening of the historic townhouse, the Galerie Dior is once again carrying forward this legacy with a second display that offers a fresh perspective on Dior’s timeless elegance.

The route through this couture showcase is constantly evolving, allowing visitors to delve into different facets of the House's history. For instance, it highlights the creation of Miss Dior, a prêt-à-porter line launched in 1967 by Marc Bohan. From never-before-seen documents to outfits embodying the vibrant spirit of the 1960s, each piece shines a light on this iconic style and the House’s enduring dedication to dressing women of all kinds.
As visitors continue their stroll, they arrive at the "Artistic Affinities" gallery, showcasing the many collaborations launched by Kim Jones, Artistic Director of Dior Homme. Here, the designer's sketches and outfits are displayed for the first time, highlighting, among other things, the unique relationship between the House and contemporary art.
The final stage of this captivating fashion journey takes us back to the 18th century: the Age of Enlightenment. The gallery showcases an array of garments, accessories, ornaments, objects, and photographs, highlighting Christian Dior’s fascination with the grandeur of that era.
An admiration still palpable today, as seen in Maria Grazia Chiuri's design — a pleated tulle and lace dress worn by actress Emilia Schüle in the lead role of the 2022 series Marie-Antoinette.
Thus, both casual visitors and longtime Parisians are invited to immerse themselves in the heritage of the House of Dior.
Please note that access to the Dior Gallery is available by reservation only.
