Seth: "Escape Games" exhibition at the Itinerrance gallery in Paris - extensions

Seth: four letters for one of France's street artists, a favorite of many urban art lovers. Today, the artist is known in France and around the world for his sublime paintings of faceless children, immortalized in every corner of the globe. Both poetic and committed, Seth 's works can now be seen in Paris, Grenoble and Le Mans, as well as in Donbass, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Haiti.

While his frescoes on building facades and walls are a real eye-catcher, many of his works are also exhibited in galleries and more unusual locations. For the 8th edition of the Urban Art Fair, Seth took over the Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées with an astonishing and poetic installation.

A few months earlier, the artist - who likes to describe himself as a " globe painter " - had erected a sculpture on the Place du Louvre and unveiled a series of giant photographs at the Carrousel du Louvre.

Even earlier, Seth - whose real name is Julien Malland - was featured at the Musée en Herbe. The street artist had also unveiled his work at Fluctuart in 2022 and at the Itinerrance gallery in 2020. It's precisely this gallery in the 13th arrondissement of Paris that Seth is reinvesting.

Galerie Itinerrance hosts the artist's new solo exhibition. Entitled " Escape Games " , this free installation has been on view since November 29. Two sculptures and some twenty paintings, most of them in acrylic and spray paint, can be admired on site. As always, his works are poetic. " In a world marked by uncertainty and conflict, "Escape Games" presents itself as a poetic escape, a space where imagination and resilience allow us to flee the jolts of our times," explains Seth on his social networks.

We discover children escaping into the clouds, or others escaping into a swirl of colors, the famous"vortex". Seth 's works invite us to dream, offering us an escape as beautiful as it is sensitive.
