From June 8, 2023 to May 12, 2024, we're continuing (and ending) the year in style at the Musée en Herbe, a cultural venue on a child's scale, designed especially for the little ones: in fact, it's Parisian street artist Seth who has made the museum his brand-new playground with a brand-new exhibition dedicated to him, Seth se la joue.

If you're a regular visitor to Paris, you're bound to have come across Seth 's large-scale murals: with their faceless characters, drawn with childlike features and a graphic style you'd expect to find in a comic strip, it's hard to miss them in the streets of the capital! These works have been seen around the world, and fascinate young and old alike. The Musée en Herbe invites you to immerse yourself in the artist's imaginary worlds, and discover his poetic universe during a museum outing.

From June 8, 2023 to May 12, 2024, let yourself be carried away by the poetic, colorful and playful universe of street-artist Seth. The French artist unveils a wide range of paintings, murals, sculptures and installations in the new exhibition Seth se la joue.

Seth se la joue recounts the artist's travels to the four corners of the world, with frescoes painted in Madagascar, Java, Haiti, Ukraine, China... Under each of the frescoes are traditional games played by children in those countries, which you can try out during the exhibition. You'll also travel through the backstreets of Paris, the artist's home town, where he painted dozens of frescoes: all depicting children at play, having fun, with an innocence painted on their faces that is never seen on the frescoes. In fact, in one of the exhibition rooms, visitors can disguise themselves and change their personalities, just like Seth's characters!

One of the exhibition's greatest surprises is the rainbow tunnel in the last room: like a secret passageway, the tunnel opens onto an immersive room filled with mirrors, where visitors' portraits magically merge with Seth's works...

Colorful, astonishing, poetic, playful: the Musée en Herbe offers us a beautiful exhibition that makes us smile from ear to ear! Thousands of little details are hidden in each work. Take your time, and observe each installation to discover all its secrets.
