The Musée du Louvre is a very special art venue in Paris, as much for its size as for its collections, its history, its architecture... And at night, the museum is transformed even further, immersing us in a different, timeless atmosphere.
During the festive season of 2024, the Musée du Louvre will be strolling through its rich collections by night. From December 26, 2024 to January 4, 2025, the museum will remain open until 9 p.m., for a magical evening of one-on-one (or almost one-on-one) viewing of the museum's greatest works of art .
A very popular tourist site, the Louvre sometimes suffers from this great popularity: the visit can be less enjoyable when the paintings or art objects are obscured by a crowd of curious onlookers. The nocturnes offer a privileged, more relaxed, more special moment. Small groups of visitors can take their time to appreciate the various treasures in the collections.
And don't miss the free nocturne on Friday, January 3, 2025: on the first Friday of the month, the Louvre Museum is free for all in the evening. This visit must be booked well in advance, as places sell out fast. Go straight to the museum ticket office!
The Louvre Museum offers free evening entry on the first Friday of each month—reserve your tickets now.
This is the monthly treat everyone looks forward to: the Louvre Museum opens its doors for free to all visitors every first Friday of the month after 6 p.m. Be sure to reserve your tickets quickly for April 3, 2026. [Read more]
