On March 21 and 22, 2026, head over to La Seine Musicale to enjoy the free activities celebrating the return of the Spring Sculpture Festival.

La Seine musicale is a large concert hall located on the outskirts of Paris, in Boulogne-Billancourt. From musicals and concerts to musical entertainment for children, this venue offers a varied program of shows that are much appreciated by the public. But did you know that the Seine musicale is also home to several sculptures and works of art?

Come explore and marvel at these sculptures on March 21 and 22, 2026, during special tours and activities organized as part of the Spring of Sculpture event in the Hauts-de-Seine department.

The Spring of Sculpture is a cultural event launched in 2019 by the Seine-Saint-Denis department to showcase its sculptural heritage and offer a fresh cultural gathering for residents of Île-de-France. With the participation of 22 institutions and partners, the event features a variety of activities and exhibitions each year designed to engage and inspire the general public.

In March 2026, art enthusiasts and curious visitors will be invited to the Seine Musicale to explore the sculptures showcased in this prominent performance venue. Here’s what awaits you. Please note, some activities are available by reservation only.

The Printemps de la Sculpture program at the Seine musicale :

  • Guided tours exploring the sculpted trail of Île Seguin will be offered on Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22.
    A professional guide will lead you through the open-air sculptures of Île Seguin. The tour begins at La Seine Musicale, a flagship cultural venue on the island, and continues along an artistic and natural landscape to the Gauthier-Mougin départemental park. Along the way, you'll observe the dialogue between contemporary art, architecture, and the landscape, highlighting the island's unique cultural identity.
    Guided tours last approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
    Saturday, March 21: 1:30 PM / 3:00 PM
    Sunday, March 22: 11:00 AM / 1:30 PM / 3:00 PM
    Free of charge, reservation required.

  • A bicycle-sculpture route on Saturday, March 21, starting at 2:30 PM (duration: 3 hours) – departure from the Musée des Années 30 in Boulogne-Billancourt.
    Embark on a cycling tour to discover sculptures, creative spaces, and collections dispersed across the Hauts-de-Seine territory. The Musée des Années 30 is a hidden gem dedicated to Art Deco, showcasing a rich collection that highlights the innovation and elegance of the Roaring Twenties. Continue with a visit to the Musée Paul Belmondo, dedicated to the works of the renowned sculptor. Conclude your journey on Île Seguin by exploring the sculpture trail between La Seine Musicale and Gauthier-Mougin park.
