It's not every day that you get to see Madonna or Michael Jackson at the town hall of Paris's 7th arrondissement... Well, you won't see them in the flesh, but you can admire the photographs of artist Gaëlle Ghesquière, who is unveiling previously unseen portraits in a free exhibition.
From November 4 to December 29, 2025, the 7th arrondissement town hall is hosting the Pop-Rock Icons exhibition. Open to all free of charge, this exhibition presents a series of photographs depicting major French and international pop-rock stars . From Elton John to Bono, David Bowie, Michel Polnareff, Lady Gaga, and Etienne Daho, the photographer has immortalized some of the most important singers and performers of the last 20 years.
A photojournalist specializing in portraits, Gaëlle Ghesquière offers us a glimpse of her work with the great artists of pop-rock. In her 30-year career, the photographer has met many renowned singers.
This exhibition at the 7th arrondissement town hall presents the artists on stage, in the spotlight, in the middle of their performances. These frozen moments from major concerts capture the energy of these artists in front of their fans. The exhibition features exclusive photographs from Madonna's Celebration Tour, which took place in Europe and the United States between 2023 and 2024. But that's not all! Gaëlle Ghesquière is exhibiting previously unseen images of Lenny Kravitz, Indochine, and a certain Michael Jackson...
Music lovers, enjoy this free exhibition at the town hall of Paris's 7th arrondissement.
