From December 5 to 7, 2025, original drawings from Japanese animationwill be on display at the Galerie Joseph before being auctioned on Sunday by the Aibo Art Auction house. Once destroyed after production, these pieces are now considered works of art. You can admire nearly 300 exceptional lots, including celluloid, genga, and dōga from the greatest masterpieces of Japanese animation, estimated at between €50 and €40,000.
The catalog includes an originalAstro Boy drawing in gouache on paper by the father of manga, Osamu Tezuka (1962), an illustration from a collector's edition (20 copies) of One Piece by Eiichiro Oda, two celluloid frames from Studio Ghibli films: Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984) and My Neighbor Totoro (1988), as well as works based onAlbator, Akira, Candy Candy, Saint Seiya, Nicky Larson, Dragon Ball, Naruto, Gunm, and more.
