A new immersive exhibition dedicated to the history of the Titanic is opening at the Grande Halle de la Villette! Spanning nearly 3,000 square meters, visitors can explore authentic historical artifacts and experience cutting-edge technology as they retrace the voyage of the legendary liner—blending history with a modern perspective. Walk its decks and truly grasp the ship's colossal scale, as if you were there, thanks to 360-degree projections, virtual reality, augmented reality, and a metaverse experience, all set to debut on March 31, 2026.
Step aboard the iconic ship at the departure area, where you'll pick up your augmented reality map and delve into the daily lives of passengers. Through detailed reconstructions and immersive 360° projections, explore everything from the elegant First Class lounges to the more modest spaces on the lower decks. Follow the stories of different travelers, including the Callaghan family, whose hopes are high as they board, just before their lives take a dramatic turn.
Explore a replica lifeboat and a massive iceberg, then immerse yourself thanks to a dedicated headset and virtual reality experience to witness the final song performed by the Titanic’s orchestra just before the tragedy. Young adventurers can also craft their own Titanic-inspired artworks at the drawing stations, then see their creations come to life on the big screen, enjoy interactive games, or dress up in period costumes for a memorable photo session.
In addition to these immersive experiences, visitors will have the opportunity to view historical artifacts, period costumes, and iconic accessories from the film Titanic by James Cameron. Get a glimpse of daily life aboard the vessel and its elegance through delicate porcelainware and sparkling silverware originating from the ship’s sister vessel, the RMS Olympic, and the White Star Line.
After exploring the exhibits, visitors can unwind at the Parisian Café, inspired by the original café aboard the Titanic, offering a selection of teas and pastries. Tickets will go on sale this Thursday, February 12th, at 10 a.m.
