For the inaugural Printemps des Manufactures, on Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the master artisans of the Manufacture nationale de Sèvres, housed in the historic building, will unveil to the public the secrets of porcelain making and decoration. Free admission / no reservation required

The event The Printemps des Manufactures is a national festival dedicated to the crafts sector, with its first edition centered around the European Days of Crafts 2026.
This event mobilizes the network and venues of the National Manufactures of Sèvres and Mobilier National as well as the ecosystem of their partners across the country.

Join us on Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Manufacture de Sèvres and at the Jardin des Métiers d'Art et du Design (JAD).

Each venue opens up its resident artists and craftspeople’s studios and practices to visitors, highlighting the passion and dedication of those who everyday drive the evolution of these crafts. In addition to giving the public access to the studios, the JAD also offers, throughout the weekend, a rich program that blends encounters, demonstrations, workshops, and performances.

Due to ongoing construction, the public entrance will be at 4 and 6 Grande Rue in Sèvres, via the Jardin des Métiers d'art et du Design (JAD).

What’s on the program:

  • From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. nonstop, tours of workshops and live demonstrations by the craftspeople of the Manufacture. Last entry to the Manufacture: 5 p.m.
  • From 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.: Carole Calvez, olfactory designer-in-residence at the Jardin des métiers d'Art et du Design, and Nathalie Lehmann, head of educational outreach at the National Sèvres Porcelain Manufacture, will present the olfactory creations from the sensory suitcase of the Sèvres Manufacture.
  • From 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.: Elissa Lacoste - Cédric Braisacher, artists in residence at the JAD, and Jonathan Girard, head of the manufacturing department at the National Sèvres Porcelain Manufacture, will discuss their collaboration and showcase the works born from this project.
  • Presentation of the École de Sèvres.
