Asian art, street art, photography, Middle Eastern art, drawing or sculpture: in Paris, you'll find art fairs covering every theme and every region of the world! And of course, art lovers can also take advantage of a major art fair, dedicated to contemporary art from Africa.
AKAA - Also known as Africa is the most important contemporary African art fair in Paris. The fair showcases artists and galleries from all over the African continent: committed creators, young talents, artists who keep their country's traditions alive and others who like to break codes and invent new ways of seeing the world... AKAA also welcomes French artists from the African diaspora, to share their different experiences and enrich their artistic careers.
The AKAA fair is back at the Carreau du Temple, from October 24 to 26, 2025, for another edition. And not just any edition, as the fair celebrates its 10th anniversary this year! For the occasion, AKAA offers a rich and eclectic program of exhibitions, installations, curation projects... More than 70 artists are expected to take part in this Parisian edition.
This special show aims to represent as much as possible the richness and diversity of the arts, from across the African continent. Visitors can therefore admire paintings, photography, installations and sculptures, design and decorative arts...
Art lovers are invited to the AKAA fair in autumn: don't miss this multicultural event at Carreau du Temple!
