This March 8, 2024, we're celebrating International Women's Rights Day: an opportunity to shine the spotlight on women artists, thanks to numerous exhibitions to discover in Paris and the Île-de-France region.

They are painters, sculptors, muses, photographers, actors, contemporary artists, actresses, politicians... They've inspired artists or created their own art, their own universe. As you can see, on this March 8, 2024, we're celebrating women in art in Paris! To mark International Women's Rights Day, we've put together a selection ofexhibitions that put the spotlight on women.

Through their talent and their work, they have left their mark on the art world in every era, in every style, with every instrument at their disposal. These women artists have turned their fields upside down, but they don't always get the recognition they deserve.

That's why museums, galleries and art venues are keen to put them back in the spotlight, with exhibitions dedicated to their work or their influence on the world of culture. Exhibitions that we're delighted to visit, as soon as they open!

So it's decided, this March 8, we're giving women artists the spotlight. But where to see them, where to discover them? To enjoy their work, nothing could be simpler: just visit the exhibitions below!
