Fête de la Nature in Cachan, market and fun activities

Cachan is hosting the Fête de la nature 2023 from May 10 to 14. On the program, artisanal market, visits of municipal greenhouses, eco-responsible workshops, and more.

The Fête de la nature, an annual event dedicated to the environment and biodiversity, is coming to Cachan from May 10 to 14, 2023. This celebration offers a wide range of activities for the whole family. During these five days, you will have the opportunity to discover a craft market, visit the municipal greenhouses, or participate in various environmental awareness workshops.

The star attraction of the festival is undoubtedly the craft market organized in Raspail Park on May 13 and 14. It will host nearly thirty exhibitors offering farm products, ecological and fair trade creations, as well as plants and flowers. In addition, the most gourmet among you will be able to taste fresh local products.

In addition to the market, you will be able to visit the municipal greenhouses on Saturday, May 13, from 9am to 12pm and from 1:30pm to 5pm. With a surface area of 1200 m², these greenhouses are the cradle of the production of perennials and annuals. The gardeners of the Green Spaces department will also be available to give you advice on plant care.

A workshop to make organic bread cooked on a wood fire
The discovery of bees and beekeeping

These activities will be led by various local associations and municipal services. In addition, a mini-farm will be set up on the lawn of Raspail Park by the company Tont&Co and the Basse-cour du Val-de-Marne.

In addition, a nature walk on the green corridor is scheduled for Wednesday, May 10 at 3:30 pm. It is the occasion to inaugurate this recently renovated green space. Finally, on Friday 12 at 8:30 pm, Cachan en transition and Cachan Soleil propose a film-debate with the screening of the documentary"Europe, un continent bouleversé".
