The Fête de la Nature is back in Paris and the Île-de-France region, with a host of free activities designed for both kids and adults to discover the biodiversity around them. In its 20th edition, the event returns bigger and more beautiful, offering a 100% free program.
Some of Paris's most private gardens are opening their doors specifically for the occasion, from the major Parisian parks like the Jardin des Plantes, to activities around beekeeping, amphibians, and birds... With the institutions that safeguard them across many Île-de-France towns, the program is shaping up to be a busy one for this edition 2026!
On the side of Gennevilliers and Villeneuve-la-Garenne, in the Hauts-de-Seine department, the Fête de la Nature settles into the vast Parc des Chanteraines. A must-visit for families, you’ll find a free-entry farm with a variety of animals, and a scenic green route spanning 82 hectares. On Wednesdays and weekends, a charming mini-train is a must-do, letting you tour the park (for a few euros): an unusual experience aboard the only petit train in Île-de-France that offers a view of the Eiffel Tower!

3:30 PM | Guignol Show, La pêche à la ligne
Guignol heads out for a picnic with Madame Bigoudis and the little Félix. While they drift off to pick flowers, Guignol seizes the moment to fish. But instead of fish, he reels in nothing but rubbish... and even a crocodile that escaped from the zoo! Will he manage to catch the beast without getting snapped? by Théâtre Guignol du parc des Chanteraines
4:30 PM | Show Pile Poil, by the Compagnie des Plumés
You are invited to watch a flock of ducks led by a sheepdog, with an adept accordionist improvising alongside. Before your eyes, they conjure a world where tenderness, absurdity, and laughter mingle, and where the animals rightly take center stage.
All activities are free and open to everyone—a can't-miss highlight at Parc des Chanteraines.
