Bought in 2012 by the Bondy town hall, Caillard Farm was once a farming operation left to crumble over the years. So the town of Bondy decided to turn this abandoned site into a cultural space that would bring together people of all ages with a festive program centered on nature.
Since its renovation, the old barn at the Farm has become a pocket theatre that can now seat nearly 80 spectators: so, year-round, there are plenty of concerts and shows you can enjoy with family or friends. At the rear of the building, you’ll also find a vast kitchen garden where vegetables, fruits and seasonal herbs are grown all year round: if you’d like to learn how to do it yourself, know that the Ferme Caillard offers sessions to learn gardening and tending a potager in the company of the site’s gardener.

Finally, for the little ones, the highlight is sure to be the educational farm with its barnyard animals — rabbits, ducks, chickens — and the small goats on the farm. Not only can the kids sometimes feed them, but they can also stroke them, as the animals are very accustomed to human company! A great outing to try near Bondy this weekend!
