If there's no shortage of farms in and around Paris, we'd like to take you to Clamart, to discover - if you haven't already heard of it - the city farm. Here, young and old alike can observe and pamper sheep, goats, chickens and rabbits, reconnecting with nature and awakening the family to the world of the farm.
Throughout the year, the farm’s education team runs parent–child workshops every Saturday morning and activities for young kids each Wednesday. That means you can look forward to sessions on how to make your own apple juice, butter, or an introduction to beekeeping, plus demonstrations of sheep shearing and bread making… Beyond being a fun outdoor outing, the ferme de Clamart has a strong educational mission to raise awareness among the whole family—from the youngest—about nature and how a farm works in general.

Besides, if you want to mark the moment when your child’s birthday comes around, know that the birthday celebration at the Ferme de Clamart is organized year‑round: enough to spend an unusual afternoon among the animals and blow out the candles (budget around €200 for 11 children)! For a rustic escape and a stroll as entertaining as it is educational, head to the Ferme de Clamart with the family, every Wednesday and Saturday of the year.
